KICK-OFF: FIRST HALF

AWAY WE GO IN FRANKFURT!! What an amazing game this proves to be! Can Bayern win after they lost 5-1 here last season? It's all Bayern to start this game, as the hosts are struggling to get out of their half due to the relentless Bayern press. Kimmich, Guerreiro, Kane, Olise and Müller all piling the pressure on the defence and forcing Kaua Santos into various saves. The heat is on Eintracht Frankfurt to try and get out of their area. But they are carelessly giving the ball away to give more chances to the visitors. And Bayern scored on the quarter-hour mark! Good save from Kaua to force a corner for Bayern. Taken quickly by Kimmich, plays the one-two with Olise, and he finds Müller, with the BACKHEEL PASS, AND BAYERN MUNICH HAVE SCORED!!! KIM-MIN JAE FIRES THE BALL INTO THE BACK OF THE NET TO GIVE THE VISITORS THE LEAD AGAINST FRANKFURT! LOVELY WORK FROM THE VETERAN THOMAS MÜLLER, TO FIND THE KOREAN CENTER-HALF AND IT'S A MASSIVE SETBACK FOR EINTRACHT FRANKFURT TO DEAL WITH! SGE 0 - BAY 1!
Kim-Min Jae celebrates after scoring the opening goal on 15 minutes.

How are Eintracht Frankfurt going to benefit from this setback? They always have the fighter's spirit in them as they look to come back into the contest. And on 21 minutes, the hosts levelled in true Eintracht style! What's happening here? Bayern have lost the ball and it's Ansgar Knauff with the ball after good control from Hugo Ekitike, but there is no Bayern player who has dropped back to support Manuel Neuer and it's Omar Marmoush speeding away for the hosts, and one-on-one, HE SCORES!!! OMAR MARMOUSH LEVELS THE SCORE FOR EINTRACHT FRANKFURT!! It's once again the lightning quick & deadly counterattack that the hosts have as they broke away with the 25-year-old slotting the ball beyond the helpless Neuer! It's also Frankfurt's first attempt on target in this game after being pegged back by Bayern in their half of the pitch. SGE 1 - BAY 1!
Marmoush scored the leveller on 21 minutes.

We're back level and how! Quite spectacular this! Amazing how a goal can change the course of a game. Bayern were very dominant in the opening 15 minutes and Marmoush changes it up by scoring from a fast breakaway to even things! Bayern continued to make chances inside the Frankfurt half, with Müller and Gnabry coming close for the visitors, but home GK Kaua Santos is doing a fine job in stopping the ball from going in. And on 35 minutes, lightning struck with the hosts taking the lead for the very first time. There's a nice clearance from Tuta to find Marmoush, who controls the ball beautifully with his head, and sprints past Upamecano, in another counterattack from the hosts, from a Bayern corner. On goes the Egyptian, Ekitike to his right, and he does pass towards the Frenchman, and EKITIKE, SCORES FOR FRANKFURT!! ABSOLUTELY EXTRODINARY!! FROM 1-0 DOWN, FRANKFURT LEAD BY 2-1! Another counterattack catching Bayern off guard, and it's the ex-PSG forward, Hugo Ekitike, who scores the goal which puts Frankfurt ahead for the first time in this game!
Ekitike scored Frankfurt's 2nd goal on 35 minutes.

Now, this has hurted Bayern quite a bit. Can they find a leveller before half-time? And 3 minutes later, Bayern equalised! A mess in the Eintracht penalty area, as Bayern try to score with bodies on the line to block them! Olise and Müller failed, BUT UPAMECANO HAS NOT!! IT'S 2-2 AND DAYOT UPAMECANO SCORES THE GOAL WHICH LEVELS BAYERN MUNICH!! WHAT A CRAZY GAME IT HAS BEEN SO FAR!! AN ENTERTAINING HALF WITH LOADS OF ACTION, AND GOALS TO ADD ON TOP! Quite a spectacular game we are witnessing!!
Upamecano scored Bayern's leveller on 38 minutes, through a crowd of Frankfurt players.

AND NOW WE CAN BREATHE! HALF-TIME AT THE DEUTSCHE BANK PARK! A half where things were helter-skelter to say the least. Kim-Min Jae's finish to give the visitors the lead, was followed up with goals from Marmoush and Ekitike, on 35 minutes. Only for Dayot Upcamecno to level the score 3 minutes later.
KICK-OFF: SECOND HALF

AWAY WE GO IN THE SECOND HALF! After a thrilling first half, we will see how both sides will fare after 2 goals from both sides. And interstingly enough. Bayern dominated the opening 10 minutes, and scored on 57 minutes! Bayern continue attacking Frankfurt's penalty area as the cross comes in from Guerreiro, onto Kane, lovely hold-up play AND HERE'S OLISE!!! TYPICAL MICHAEL OLISE! WE'VE SEEN HIM DO THIS FOR CRYSTAL PALACE IN THE ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE, AND NOW HE HAS GIVEN THE LEAGUE LEADERS, A CRUCIAL LEAD WITH MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR TO PLAY!! IT MAY HAVE TAKEN A NICK BEYOND KAUA SANTOS, BUT BAYERN DO NOT CARE! THEY'RE IN THE LEAD AND IT'S another goal for the Frenchman! SGE 2 - BAY 3! WHAT MORE DRAMA WILL BE THERE? We will have to wait and see!
Michael Olise celebrates Bayern's 3rd goal on 57 minutes with Pavlovic and Gnabry

Fasten your seatbelts, ladies and gentlemen! The show is still ongoing! Substitutes are limbering around for both sides, as Bayern looked to see off the stubborn Eagles in Frankfurt with 20 minutes to play. Kaua Santos was forced into 2 saves to deny Joshua Kimmich's free kick and a shot which he parried away. Nothing seemed to be working for Frankfurt, until substitute, Jr. Dina Ebimbe missed Rasmus Kristensen's cross on 85 minutes, which ended up going for a throw-in to Bayern Munich. That was the chance!! Surely, another chance will come for Frankfurt! And interestingly enough, Frankfurt rescued a point with 2 minutes of added time to play, with a super late stoppage time equaliser!! Bayern's triple substitution is surely going to help them is it? NO, because Frankfurt are on the attack and MARMOUSH IS THROUGH ON GOAL AGAIN! EBIMBE PICKS HIM OUT, AND OFF GOES THE EGYPTIAN AGAIN, IS THIS THE BIG MOMENT?!  YESSSS!!! YESSSS!!! YESSSSS!!! EINTRACHT FRANKFURT HAVE STOLEN A POINT AWAY FROM BAYERN MUNICH!! OMAR MARMOUSH HAS SAVED THE EAGLES FROM THE BRINK OF DEFEAT!! ABSOLUTE ECSTACY FOR THE EINTRACHT FANS!!
All the Frankfurt players celebrate with Omar Marmoush after he got Frankfurt's 3rd goal and the equaliser!!

AND THAT IS THAT!! FULL-TIME AT FRANKFURT!! WHAT A GAME IT HAS BEEN!! BAYERN remain top of the table, level on points with RB Leipzig, and Frankfurt stay in 3rd. Just a point behind the leaders!
